Family situation

Indicate that you have a spouse if, as applicable:

  • you are married or in a civil union
  • you have been in a conjugal relationship for a minimum of 12 months
  • you have been in a conjugal relationship for less than 12 months, with the biological or adoptive parent of at least one of your children.

Your family income corresponds to the amount entered on line 275 of your latest Québec income tax returns.

Indicate the number of children under age 18 in your care and living with you, including children who are in shared custody.

Custody is shared when a child lives with each parent between 40% and 60% of the time per month.

Family Allowance payments are made every three months on the first working day of January, April, July and October. If you would like to receive your payment every month, you must apply.
